Fish Ball sauce

Fish ball is one of my favorite street foods, besides of quail eggs and chicken skin. I remember when i was a kid i always asking money from my mom when the clock strikes 3pm because this is the time where kids are asking for there mirienda. I love buying fish ball to a vendor, because i was so amazed back then on how they cooked it, you can really see how it expand and once it's cooked, all you have to do is grab a stick and make tuhog the fish ball. You can get as many as you like in 1 stick and once you have it, manong vendor will count it and you can choose 2 types of sauce: Chili and non chili. As i remember 1 pc of fish ball cost 5centavo and this is way back in 80's and i don't know how much i cost now.


Easy chicken cordon bleu

This recipe was share to me by my colleague kenji who let me taste her moms chicken cordon blue. I was amazed because it's a less work if you will cook it. He only told me the ingredients of the sauce and i made one just to try it. It's really an easy recipe for me. And my partner really loves it.



Serve:  2-4 person
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 20 Minutes



What you need:

1/2 kilo chicken fillet
2 egg beaten
2 - 3 cup flour
2 - 3 cup of bread crumbs

Sauce:
2 tbsp butter
1 cup ham chopped it minced
1/2 cup red bell pepper
1 pack of all purpose cream
salt and pepper to taste

Direction:

Chicken Fillet:
  • F.E.B : grab a chicken tap in on the flour, egg then bread crumbs and fried. Then set a side
Sauce
  •  On a medium heat pan. put the butter and ham, saute for 2 min then add bell pepper and saute for another 2 min and add all purpose cream and let it simmer for another 2 min.
On a clean plate. Place the chicken fillet and put the sauce on top.

It's easy and yummy.

    I miss Banchetto

    In Ortigas Business Center, Pasig. It's already a tradition for a call center agent like me to go to banchetto every Saturday 12am, maybe because there's a lot of home cooked food and desserts available. But next week, no more banchetto.

    Last friday is the last day of Banchetto and i don't know why. All i can see is there signage stating that it's there last day and the organizers are asking people to sign for petition to retain Banchetto every Friday. Hay...

    Bigby's Cafe and Restaurant


    Me and my partner are always on adventure for food. We like to try different dishes that we haven't tasted yet. We don't care whether it's cheap or not. But as long as its a value for money. One of the fine dining the we have tried is Bigby's Cafe and Restaurant who serves American dish that is close to Filipino taste.

     Bigby's Cafe and Restaurant is located at Altrium in Megamall, Mandaluyong. There prices ranges from Php.200 to 300 depending on there meal size. Though, it's kinda expensive, but it's all worth it. There servings are quite similar with burgoo, but of course burgoo has it's own taste.
    So, here are the food that we eat.
    Ranging Sausage Pasta
    There Ranging Sausage Pasta has a sour taste and lot of sausage.I know i love red sauce pasta, but not for this one. No.

    Rock-a-bye Baby
    This is Bigby's best seller and I don't know why they call it as Rock-a-bye Baby. But for me it really taste yummy. My daughter who loves too eat, really gave up eating this.This is a two thumbs up for bigby's and the place is nice as well. I do recommend there steak. We might go back here to taste there other meals.
